Format Sort
International Format Sort mailings require sorting to Western Europe, with items coded to WEU.
To do this, you will need to run your address file against the ISortA database (found in the Databases section) which will generate a six-digit code for each address, comprising the first 3 digits as a zone identifier and the last 3 digits as a country identifier.
Mail for ROE and ROW can then be presented together and posted using the International Unsorted service.
To access Format sort, your mail items for Western Europe (WEU) will need to be physically sorted by format into letters, flats and packets and presented separately from those items with ROE & ROW codes. Guidelines for the dimensions of these can be found in the User Guide.
| Destination | Zone Identifier |
